Bryan, handicapper for the Maryland Jockey Club, arrived today from New York and started in arranging the stake nominations for the spring meeting. Steeplechase jockey W. Keating schooled the four-year-old Fleetwood over the steeplechase course last winter. He is intended for a Canadian campaign with the other Pending jumpers. Elemental bore out at the start in the third race yesterday, carrying the others with him and then propped. He was placed on the schooling list. The Pimlico condition books were distributed among horsemen today. C. EC, Cooks Lord Wrack was ordered scratched from the sixth race when the i st. -wards were advised that the horse was in no fit condition to race. II. ■. Bedwell is still confined to his home with a high fever and cold. C. A. Applegate arrived from Tampa en route to New York. S. F c.illespie arrived at Havre de Grace from Tampa with the two-year-old Signola. Shelby BaKk transferred the stable that he has in training from Benning to Pimlico. Shams C.ilmartin, in charge of the mutuel department at Collinsville. 111., was a clubhouse visitor today. He announced that Keventy-five sellers and ninety-eight cashiers would be used at the spring meeting.
