P0MPEY FIRST WORK-OUT .i:W YORK. N. Y.. April *. . — 1oni-pey, champion juvenile last year, owned by YV. R. Coe. had his first workout of the year this morning at Pelmont Park. On the main track and in muddy going, he galloped a half mile in M and went on to the five-eighths mark in 1 :07. The colts appearance evoked much favorable comment among the dockers. He- is in excellent condition and appears to be 200 pounds heavier than last year.
