I LATONIA TURF NOTES I s $ The Le Mar Stock Farms Miss Guide, H. P. Headleys Technique, and Liqueur and W. R. Coes Pompoleon and Old Baldy, all candidates for the Breeders Futurity, to be run here Saturday, will leave Laurel Wednesday, according to messages received late Tuesday afternoon by track superintendent Charles Nolte. The following notice of special importance 1 to horsemen was posted by the stewards: ! "The Kentucky State Racing Commission j has ruled that all veterinarians, platers, valets, stable foremen, grooms and exercise boys must have a license, the fee for which for the remainder of 1932 will be . No badge shall be issued to any of those specified not having a license. The sale, loan or other misuse of a badge will result in a revocation of license and a denial of the privileges of the course." Courtney Forsyth will make the engage-ments of Leonard Cantrell, apprentice, who jhas been showing fine form. Cantrell hails j from Billings, Mont. I W. Z. Martin, with the horses of D. Breck- enridge; J. Shouse, Raoul Walsh, Young Bros, and Lebus Bros, were among the later arrivals from Fairmount Park. Octave Viau also got in with eight head. - Frank Swain has sent the F. M. Grabner horses to winter quarters and will race Tommy Tickle, Sym Jack and Just Buck through the local meeting. Former jockey Willie Crump, who has made quite a name for himself as a trainer and owner, decided to return from Maryland for the local season. He has the cracks two-year old colt, Head Play, ready for racing here. Head Play, a double stakes winner, is named for the Santa Maria Purse Wednesday. The two-year-olds On Side and Score are the only horses J. T. Weaver has in training for William E. Smith, member of the State Racing Commission. Others of the Smith horses, including eight yearlings, have entered winter quarters. J. C. Milam is looking after the four two-year-olds he shipped here from Lexington several days ago. They are Our Trouble, Southern Ace, More Anon and Flying Dare, all well bred. Chesney and Subtlety, owned by Otto W. Lehmann, president of the Arlington Park Jockey Club, are among the horses Charles A. Kenney brought from Lincoln Fields. J. G. Chinns stable was among recent arrivals from Lexington. He has I Pass, Noelwood, Diodoro, Red Boot, Wilks and Fair Barbara.
