ROSENBERG LEADS OWNERS Futurity Victory Gives Him Favored Position in Belmont Meeting. Kerry Patch Responsible for His Entire Total of 9,290 New York Track Distributes 62,550 in Twelve Days. u The result of this years Futurity Stakes, one of the richest of all races, marked a big turnover in racing statistics, not only bringing a new two-year-old to the front and bestowing new distinction on a comparatively obscure sire and dam, but also bringing fortune to an owner who had not hitherto figured prominently in the big money division. The victory of Kerry Patch netted L. Rosenberg 8,690 and enabled him to lead all owners who participated in Belmont Parks autumn meeting, with a total of 9,290. All of, this was won by the son of Desperate Desmond Folly McWiggles, as Kerry Patch had previously taken down 00 for his second to Dynastic in the Champagne Stakes. In its four previous renewals the Futurity had been won by juveniles owned by the late H. P. Whitney, C. V. Whitney, G. D. Widener and Marshall Field, Belair Stud, with its Faireno, finished second among the winning owners at Belmont, with 6,935, of which 4,985 was won by Faireno in the Lawrence Realization Stakes. Col. E. R. Bradley was third, with 4,775, nearly all of which was won by Barn Swallow, two-year-old daughter of Black Servant, whose Matron Stakes was worth 0,575. No other owner came near these. Sanford Stud and W. R. Coe were among those winning in excess of 0,000, and Mr. Coe made a strong bid for leadership when his Ladysman, favorite in the Futurity, finished a close second to Mr. Rosenbergs Kerry Patch. The second was worth 0,300. Subscriptions to the important Belmont Stakes brought the total distribution for the short twelve-day meeting up to a considerable figure for times such as the present. This total amounted to 62,550, a daily average of 1,879. Leading owners, winners of more than ,500, follow: Owner. 1st. 2nd. 3rd. Amt. Rosenberg, L 1 1 0 9,290 Belair Stud 4 0 1 26,935 Bradley, E.
