IRISH STUD CLOSED Special Correspondence. DUBLIN; Ireland. Lord Farness Irish stud farm, Gil town, County Kildare, has fesen closed because of the British-Irish Free Sate tariff "war." Many of the horses bred at Giltown won high-class races. Salmon Trout won the St. Leger Stakes and Orwell the Two Thousand Guineas. There are no horses at Giltown now, all being sent to England. The mares and foals are at Borough Court, Lord. Furness residence in Gloucestershire, while the yearlings, fourteen in number, were sold at the recent Don-caster sales, bringing a total of 0,820. In ten years Giltown stud yearlings sold for an aggregate of ,238,595. During that period eighty of these yearlings won 125 races with first prize values of 79,050 in England and Ireland. It is rumored that the Giltown farm will be offered for sale in the near future,
