LONG BRANCH TURF NOTES 4 David S. Gillies, Canadian Racing Associations steward, came over from Hamilton to enjoy the afternoons sport. Jockeys T. Vercher, G. Riley and E. McLaughlin will depart for Kentucky at the close of the Long Branch meeting to be on hand to ride at Latonia. W. R. Woollatt, E. Washburn and Tim Hanrahan arrived Tuesday morning from Windsor, Ont, Jockey F. Dougherty, G. Seabo, W. Obert, R. Townrow, F. Madeley, J. Boucher, N. Foden, J. Cochlin, J. W. Frye, O. Whalen, A. Gaither, J. Scott and C. Hooper have signified their intentions of riding at Dufferin Park. J. H. Madigan, owner of the Fort Erie track, was a visitor of the day. Jockey G. Rileys contract with H. C. Hatch, which ran out several days ago, has been renewed.
