SIXTY CLAIMS AT HOMEWOOD Sixty claims were made during the twenty seven day meeting at Washington Park with a total of 95600 changing hands It probably was the greatest number of claims ever made at a Chicago track in one season The largest sum involved in any one trans ¬ action was 3000 which J G Goodwin gave for Mr Joe the Peconic Stable gave for Dis Dat and William Sachsenmaier gave for Cabezo CabezoRulings Rulings handed down by the stewards of the Illinois Racing Commission numbered seventeen of which a dozen involved disci ¬ plinary action
