FAIRMOUNT STABLES FILLED COLLINSVTLLE 111 June 26 The popu ¬ larity of Fairmount Park with horseman as well as fans is once more attested by the thoroughbred assemblage at the current meeting With other tracks clamoring for horses Fairmount is forced to turn down ap ¬ plications Every barn on the grounds is filled and temporary quarters outside of the grounds have been put up for late arrivals from Kansas City Mo Dayton Ohio and Kalamazoo Mich Racing secretary Dick Leigh estimates that approximately 700 horses are quartered here for the meeting allowing him to draw up large and inter ¬ esting fields for the daily programs much to the satisfaction of local racegoers Some of the outstanding owners who have shipped their equines here recently are E E Major G F Jenkins I Seybold Mrs C B Irwin C N Finch D Christian A C Kort and F Burrell
