SIRE DIS DONO DIES LEXINGTON, Ky., July 3.— Imported Dis Done, noted stallion which has been standing • at the C. V. Whitney farm near Lexington, died there Sunday, it was learned today. Locked bowels was given as the cause of death. Dis Done, which was foaled I in France in 1913, was bred by the late Harry Payne Whitney. He was the son of Sardanapale and the famous producer Lady Hamburg II., by Hamburg. The second dam i was imported Lady Frivoles, by St. Simeon. Dis Done raced only once, but he was one of the most highly tried yearlings ever handled by the late James Rowe. He was the sire of Top Flight, Avenger, Indian Runner, Malolo, High Fay, Ben Marshall, Shaker Lady, Matinee Girl and many other well known horses. He was half brother to imported Chicle, sire of Whichone, Cherry Pie and others.
