m 1 DETROIT TURF NOTES ] ♦ *% Jack Healey is transferring the division of the C. V. Whitney stable he has here to Arlington Park Wednesday night. He is leaving Sassafras here. Healey returns to Detroit after the close of the Arlington Park meeting. Maj. T. C. McDowell notified the management that he was shipping his stable here Wednesday. Waldo Freeman is bringing the Fishburn Stable here at the same time. Mrs. Clyde Van Dusens Ted Clark arrived here from Chicago and was turned over to Clyde Van Dusen. Harold Ward, secretary to Joe F. Patterson, came from Arlington Park in charge of Miss Patience. Due to being impossible to saddle, Miss Ardith, a carded starter in the first race at Detroit Tuesday, the stewards ordered the daughter of Porte Drapeau and Thats That withdrawn. »
