BOWIE TURF NOTES 1 . Edward J. Brennan, one of the officials of the Maryland Jockey Club, received word that Azucar, winner of the Santa Anita Handicap, and six others of the horses owned by F. M. Alger, Jr., of Detroit, would leave California on Thursday, destined for Pim-lico. Four horses have changed hands at the meeting, with the sum of ,000 figuring in the transactions.
