RULE AGAINST JOCKEY AGENTS NEW YORK, N. T., April 10. The stewards of the Jamaica meeting, George H. Bull, Harold O. Vosburgh and Marshall Cas-sidy, announced today that they will recognize no jockey agent, as such, who is not the duly authorized agent of the stable employing the jockey. All agents making jockey engagements must be approved by the stewards of the meeting. . The same conditions will be enforced at Belmont Park, Aqueduct, Empire and Saratoga during the season. "According to the officials the ruling will eliminate many mistakes in the assignment of boys to horses during the course of the day, and at the same time make it much easier for an owner or trainer to locate the service of a jockey.
