ZIZAH went to the front at once, steadily drew away from the field and came on to win eased up. MORCHARM, close up throughout, saved ground on the rail all the way and was racing very fast in the last few yards, but could not get to the winner. CHRISTIE FLANAGAN, close to the winner throughout, tired slightly in the stretch run. FLISAK gained ground steadily while rounding the turn and was racing well at the finish. ANTHONY WAYNE was in close quarters for the first part and could not get going but closed gamely in the closing stages. MONTANA MAID had some early foot, but tired. JACK D. appeared a bit lame going to the post and quit to a walk in the stretch. THE DAGO suffered from lack of racing room on the inside. The others were always outrun. LADY EDITH, off well, trailed the leaders to midway of the stretch, came with a rush on the outside when straightened and got up to win narrowly. TYNEMOUTH fought for the lead with WEE SANTA to the sixteenth post, got to the front momentarily, but failed to hold the winner in the last few strides. WEE SANTA showed in front for the first half mile, but tired in the last eighth. SKEETER HAWK, never far from the leaders, finished gamely. COUNTESS BYE closed some ground in the stretch run. Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. EARLY, well rated, came around the early leaders entering the stretch, steadily gained on the pacemaker and won going away. WRACKDALE, closest -to the early leader, came through on the rail, went to the front at the half-mile post, but dropped back slightly rounding the turn, came again in the stretch, but was no match for the winner. ARLINE O. saved ground on the rail all the way, came from far back and was closing very fast through the stretch. VOLTANNA took the lead on the turn, but tired in the final eighth. TABOUR raced evenly throughout. DEEPIE showed a dull effort. GREYLOCK, off slowly, was never a contender. SlRLOIN showed some early speed, but tired badly. BAD BOY broke in front, but dropped back in the first eighth, came again on the rail, entering the stretch, got up in the last few yards and won by a half length. LITTLE BROOM went to the front soon after the start, set all the pace to midway of the stretch, but. failed to hold the winner in the last seventy yards. CARTAGO, forced to race on the outside all the way, came with a rush through the stretch and was going very fast at the end. GENGHIS KHAN came through between horses on the turn, made a game bid, but tired in the stretch run. CRABTREE closed with a belated rush in the final eighth. AMITE was shuffled back on the back stretch and never tried thereafter. The others were never in contending positions. ADDER, off in front, fought it out with BETH HOGAN for the lead for the first half mile, then got to the front by 3 head, led to the stretch, then dropped back slightly, but came again though failing to stall off the winner in the last few strides. BETH HOGAN went to the front at the; start, ran head and head with ADDER to midway of the stretch, then tired in the final drive. VERA CROFTON, never far from the pace, closed gamely, but could not reach the leaders. SEDREG closed some ground in the stretch run. BROADMOOR BEHAVE, close up throughout,- closed with good courage, but could never reach the leaders. DARK TYRANT steadily closed ground and was going well at the end. DIGGINS, off well, trailed the leaders to the half-mile post, then moved up on the outside and raced to the front, steadily drew away from the field and won by a wide margin. PRETTY QUICK went to the front on the first turn, dropped back off the pace on the back stretch, came again in the stretch and was going very fast at the finish, though no match for the winner. LAZI CANTER was all but left at the post, trailed the field to the three-quarters post, then steadily gained on the leaders, raced on the outside entering the stretch and was going fastest of all at the end. NEW BABY was forced to take up on the back stretch, but came again in the stretch and was going well at the finish. STAR ROYAL and TRIASSIC had some early speed, but tired.
