1 GENERAL NEWS OF THE DAY o Samuel Insull must stand trial again, the United States attorney-general deciding to try him and his associates on the remaining federal indiclment resulting from collapse of the Insull utilities. The government action is said to be taken upon the recommendation of United States District Attorney Dwight Green. According to reliable sources from Geneva, Switzerland, Great Britain and Italy are prepared to give military assistance to France if Germany violates the demilitarized zone along her borders. The noted landscape painter, Joseph Far-quharson, died Monday in Scotland at the age of eighty-nine. His snow and sheep scenes are famous throughout Europe and America.
