TEAS OUTSTANDING DAY 5,000 Texas Derby Big Feature of Saturdays Elaborate Closing Program. ARLINGTON, Texas, April 15. Saturday at Arlington Downs promises to develop into one of the most colorful days in the history of the Texas Jockey Club. Not only will the running of the 5,000 Texas Derby headline the concluding day at Arlington Downs, but there will be a group of added features, which will maintain interest throughout. Visiting Mexican poloists, including Gen. Avila Camacho, secretary of war for the Republic of Mexico, and Gen. Jesus Kayme Quinones, celebrated Mexico City sportsman, will be honored with luncheon by members of the El Ranchitos Polo Club, whom the visitors meet in an international tournament starting Sunday, the day following the Texas Derby. A parade of the visitors ponies will be staged between the second and third race Saturday, and each mount will be led by a Mexican groom in his national habiliments. In addition all the visiting players will be garbed in the Mexican national dress. Mrs. Cecil Childers, Mrs. A. B. Wharton, Jr., and Mrs. W. T Waggoner II. will be the hostesses for Saturdays luncheon. Miss Morousia Mueller, who will represent the Texas Jockey Club, and present the massive silver trophy to the owner of the horse winning the Lone Star Classic, will arrive Friday night from New York, from where she is making a special trip by air to make the Jockey Clubs presentation. Mrs. Wharton and Mrs. Waggoner will present the floral blanket Saturday to the victor. Two races on Saturdays final program will be dedicated to the visiting Mexican military leaders, and there will be several other outstanding features.
