EXTENSION AT BAY j MEADOWS POSSIBLE SAN MATEO, Calif., April 15. The present Bay Meadows meeting may not terminate Tuesday after all. Upon the suggestion of a committee of horsemen general manager Wm. P. Kyne today sent anumber of owners to the Tanforan track to look over the condition of that course and upon their report will hinge the future of the current Bay Meadows meeting. Should they state that in their opinion Tanforan will not be ready to open Saturday, the present meeting at Bay Meadows will be extended. Permission has already been granted by the California Horse Racing Board for a Bay Meadows extension if it develops that Tan-. foran will not be ready to open Saturday.
