BIG SHIPMENT TO AURORA Seven Cars Carrying" 112 Horses Leave New Orleans Headed for Fox River Valley Track. NEW ORLEANS, La., April 2 The largest single shipment of horses to leave the Fair Grounds since the close of the meeting left Wednesday for Aurora, 111. The special train, consisting of seven cars, carried 112 horses. Fewer than 300 horses remain quartered at the local track. Some owners are leaving daily by van, while others are using their own trailers to move to racing points. The horses in charge of Al Gaal, consisting of ten head and five for M. D. Livingston, made up one car for shipment to Aurora on the special; another carried the thoroughbreds of R. B. Allen, who had six, and ten the property of H. Herendeen. The third car was made up by C. A. Bidencope, who had two; T. Smiths one, nine belonging to A. J. Halliwell, and three for J. Graham. The fourth car carried the horses of E. E. Keller, who shipped five, three belonging to C. E. Lenahan, one for B. Allen, H. Hocken-burys three, J. Noels three. Four owners were represented in the fifth car. A. A. Young had eight, C. C. Kranz four, G. OKeefe three and C. D. Wilson one. In the sixth car were the horses of D. Womeldorff, who had four, H. Drydens two, three for J. Purpura, J. Klucina and R. B. Bridwell with two each, and G. Foster and R. Bishop with one each. In the last car were four each for E. Johnson and R. Cochran, two each in charge of L. D. Moore, L. Gorham and H. H. Chopin, while H. P. Plcming and J. Smith had one each.
