C. T. FISHER BUYS DEAR MARIA LEXINGTON, Ky., April 2. Ross Long, manager of Dixiana, this morning announced that for the account of Chas. T. Fisher, he has purchased from Miss Elizabeth Daingerfield, the mare Dear Maria, by Ambassador IV. Tripping. Dear Maria is in foal to High Time and is to visit him again this season. The purchase was inspired by the fact that there is now at Dixiana a splendid yearling by High Time Dear Maria. Manager Long stated that trainer Clyde Van Dusen will ship eleven of the thirty Dixiana horses he has in training at the farm on April 15 to Churchill Downs. When the eleven go out of the training barn three others will be moved in. There are, all told, thirty-three horses at Dixiana for racing this year.
