REACH LOUISVILLE APRIL 22 Milky Way Farms Stable Includes The Fighter, Sangreal and Doran, Kentucky Derby Candidates. LOUISVILE, Ky., April 2 According to a wire received from trainer Bob McGar-vey, the main division of the Milky Way Farms Stable of Mrs. Ethel V. Mars will arrive at Churchill Downs on April 22, leaving Arlington Downs the day after the running of the Texas Derby. The Milky Way string, comprising thirty head, includes the Kentucky Derby eligibles, Sangreal, The Fighter and Doran. McGarvey is understood to be quite enthusiastic over his Derby chances since the recent triumph of The Fighter and San-greals handy score in the Santa Rosa Purse last Saturday, over such ranking eligibles as Mrs. Edward Haughtons Black Highbrow and Milldale Stables Ttennob. Both The Fighter and Sangreal are entered in the Texas Derby and likely will accept as an entry. Doran, however, becomes more or less a doubtful three-year-old quantity following his recent disappointing last. The new importance of The Fighter and Sangreal as Derby possibilities is not surprising to those observers who watched their developments as two-year-olds. The Fighter has loomed up as a top flight colt from the outset, having listed the Grand Union Hotel Stakes at Saratoga and the Remsen Handicap at Jamaica among his six victories, to say nothing of a second in the Junior Championship Stakes at Aqueduct. Sangreal won the Albany Handicap and two other races in fifteen essays as a juvenile.
