COUNT COTTON, a strong factor from the start and in close quarters, tired in the drive. CHILHEE and KATE GREEN-AWAY quit. RAINY WEATHER began very slowly and was always a distant trailer. RETIRED sprinted into a good lead after disposing of WARDELL ORMONT, responded fast whenthreatened and held on gamely. LASSIES SON, well up from the start, tired after, a half mile. WISE ADVOCATE raced wide and held on well. KIEVSON, used up in the pace, tired rapidly in the drive. OUR ADMIRAL .was never a factor. NOAHS PRIDE showed little and was pulled up in the last eighth. BUGABOO, under strong handling from the start, disposed of CAPTAIN RED after five-sixteenths, gave way to the winner and tired fast in the last eighth. CAPTAIN RED tired. ANCELOT had no mishaps.
