PROCLIVITY raced to the front at once and soon drew into a good lead, but was under a hand ride in fche final sixteenth to hold GLYNNA safe. The latter was always closest to the winner and, showing a good effort, was gaining at the finish. QUICK LOOK showed a fairly good effort and was best of the others. WISE ACE closed some ground. MIELETTA performed poorly. LOOK OUT BELOW leaped into the air at the start and, off poorly, lost his chance. Overweight Wice Ace, 1 pound; Look Out Below, 2; Nbrab Gnol, 2. Won driving; second and third the same. f DON MARCUS, in close quarters on the inside in the early running, came to the outside to make his jnove and, although racing to the middle of the track on the stretch turn, headed LYSANDER and held the latter to the finish. LYSANDER raced close up on the outside of HUMOROUS in the early stages and, getting Jlo the front when the latter tired, cut to the rail to hold on well. ZEBULO closed ground and was going gamely at the finish. HUMOROUS tired and swerved in the stretch. MAYLITE showed a very weak effort .nd was never a contender at any stace. BLACKMAIL met with interference rounding the first turn, but came fast after going half the distance and outfinished the others. FESTOON dropped back after leaving the back stretch, but came again under punishment in the last eighth. BEDO was used up trying to get to the front and was tiring at the finish. THURSDAY, close to the pace from the start, showed an inclination to bear in and his rider appeared to have some difficulty managing him, but he finished gamely next to the rail on the inside of thejvinner. ARSON was the victim of too much rating, being permitted to drop back approaching the stretch turn, then came again on the outside in the last ighth to finish fast. PLUCKY JACK had speed, but tired a trifle in the stretch. RED ENSIGN raced Jairly well and may have needed the race. DARK WINTER and, BOILING POINT were unable to keep up. ZEVAR improved his position steadily after going half the distance and, wearing down CANNY SCOT in the stretch, won narrowly in a drive. CANNY SCOT raced to the front early to open up a good lead, retained command after bearing out rounding the stretch turn and, going in courageous fashion to the end, barely missed. ROME VENNIE moved up strongly next to the rail rounding the stretch turn, but tired in the last eighth. MORPHEUS was in close quarters around the first turn and dropped back, but came again in the stretch. SWEET MAN and STAR BROOK tired in the stretch. LEEWARD stumbled right after the start and, although making up some ground, was never dangerous. BON MOON met with interference from the winner while tiring in the stretch.
