BUCK PRIVATE, outrun to the stretch, moved up stoutly in the drive, but was overmatched. HASTY ROCK broke quickly, forced the pace to the final eighth, then tired. SISTER JEAN lost ground after racing well up for a quarter mile. ARTHUR M. had no excuse. BANK ME lacked speed. RIVRAM, away in a tangle, failed to reach contention. BILLIES ORPHAN, slow to get going and on the outside most of the way, moved up fast in the drive, but was no threat. PEGGY PAT" tired in the stretch. MORLEY FIRTH quit. OIL QUEEN could not keep up. PARMA VIOLET took command early, gave way to IDLE VICTORY when challenged, but the latter could not attain a clear lead when the winner fought it out determinedly in the final stages. IDLE VICTORY alternated in setting the pace and held on with good courage, but was not good enough. ROLANDA closed resolutely under strong riding. JOCKANA, away in a tangle when her rider was unprepared, rushed to contention and raced well to the final sixteenth, then tired. PARADISE MAID had no excuse. MISS MOO showed nothing. SANTERNO began well, but lacked speed, moved up rapidly after a half mile, forced tlje pace to the final eighth, was caught in close quarters, but got clear, then finished fast. BETHLEHEMSTAR raced well under a hustling ride. MISSION TIME, rank at the post, began slowly and was outrun. MY IDEAL and RAPID PRINCE quit. SIXTH RACE 1 MILE AND 70 YARDS.
