Waggoner, chairman of the racing commission and part owner of Arlington Downs, paid his first visit to the track Saturday afternoon since recovering from a minor operation. Mr. Waggoner leaves Sunday for Louisville, where he will remain until after the running of the Kentucky Derby. E. P. Waggoner also leaves Sunday for the scene of the Kentucky Derby. Col. John Jacob Atz leaves Sunday for Churchill Downs, where he will remain until after the running of the Derby. From there he goes to Detroit for the Michigan season. The main division of the Three Ds Stock Farm Stable, in charge of head trainer, R. N. "Dick" Vestal, gets away Sunday for Churchill Downs. Another division of the stable, in charge of Dan Deering and Johnny Pons, will be shipped to Riverside Park. W. H. Koheke, horsemens bookkeeper here, Alamo Downs and Detroit, will visit his family in Chicago before proceeding to Detroit. Charles Alexander Kenny, who has been substituting for John Carey, who is confined to his apartment, suffering with a mild attack of influenza, leaves Sunday for his home at Paris, Ky. After a short visit with his family he wlil go to Beulah Park, where he assists racing secretary Emmett" Hileman. Walter Donovan, chairman of the Florida racing commission, who has been the guest of E. Paul Waggoner for two days, returned to his home at Miami.
