1 BAY MEADOWS TURF NOTES $ $ Prank, three-year-old star in the stable of Maj. Austin C. Taylor, was fired Saturday. Trainer D. Cannon said before he left for Kentucky that he intended resting the animal and taking him up in the fall. Lon Giboney, well-known western owner and trainer, arrived from Bakersfield with the sprinter Junior Conard. Jess Chambers, chairman of the board of the Santa Maria Fair Association, is an arrival from the South. Lonnie Copenhaver sold Booster Twist and Twin Peaks to his brother, J. E. Copenhaver. Ace Hudkins was fined 0 for violation of the rules of racing by the stewards. Aggie Star, in foal to the Australian sprinter Tea Trader, has been sent to the Pasa Tiempo Ranch at San Jose by M. H. Tich-enor. Mrs. J. O. Cunningham sold Santa Roma to C. B. Coit. The mare will be sent to Bakersfield to be used for a brood mare.
