Won driving; second and third the same. WAR ADMIRAL, a keen factor in the early rwnning, came courageously when straightened into the stretch and outfinished SONNY JOE under a vigorous drive. SONNY JOE, a strong contender early, took a brief lead at the final eighth post and continued strongly until the close. GROUND OAK was hustled all along the way and closed stoutly in the closing drive. ROMNEY ROYAL had nice speed for the first half mile, then tired. INDIANA broke in tight quarters and could not threaten when clear. ZOR broke last, but was unable to maintain a forward position. HAPPY HOST was never a factor. WULFSTAN xaced greenly and lost considerable ground. TITANICAL would not extend himself and raced very greenly. FRASCATI suffered interference at the turn out of the back stretch. IvEOKEE worked his way up steadily on the outside, rallied to punishment when reaching the stretch, closed gamely, but could not menace the winner. SINGING HEART, away slowly, improved her position gradually and finished courageously in the final drive. DISCOURSE was hard ridden while holding a forward position, but tired in the last eighth. BUBBLING SPRING raced forwardly for the first five-eighths, then tired badly under punishment. BALLY BAY began tiring after going a half mile. SYLVIA G. secured racing room on the inside, but could not engage the leaders. HELEN BAB was away very slowly and was never a factor. GAY BRIDE was away poorly and had no chance. APATHY, prominently placed in the early running, tired in the last quarter mile. SILENT DON was under urging for the entire trip, but could not menace the leaders. CHATMOSS, going kindly and racing equipped with blinkers, followed in close pursuit of the leaders for the first three-quarters, took command when reaching the final turn, rallied to mild punishment and outstayed SYNOD. The latter, far out of contention for the first three-quarters, moved up steadily in the last half mile and was catching the winner slowly ncaring the finish. BIOGRAPHY, rated close up from the beginning moved up stoutly entering the stretch and fought it out stoutly until the end. BLACK GIFT was reserved from the pace of the early leaders but within reach, assumed command in the stretch when CYCLE and PSYCHIC BID were through and continued gamely to hold STAND PAT safe. The latter lacked early speed, but gradually improved his position when settled into his stride and -closed with -a rush, but was not good enough. CYCLE had his usual early speed to set the pace, withstood a challenge from PSYCHIC BID, but was tiring at the end. GALLANT MAC, always well placed, came to the outside ia the stretch and finished stoutly. HOWARD raced evenly and finished stoutly. PSYCHIC BID forced the pace, but quit under his weight. HEADIN HOME opened up a long lead in the first three-quarters, responded gamely in the last quarter mile while saving ground and continued willingly. DUTCH UNCLE, forced to race on the outside all the way, held on gamely when the final test came. CACHALOT, slow as usual to begin, reached his field at the final turn, but had to come wide thereafter while closing strongly. MISS PURRAY tired after making a determined bid midway of the stretch. DEARZIN, always placed well up, took a short lead on the turn, held on well in the final drive and just failed to last. JUST REMEMBER, forced wide on the first turn, responded well to make up lost ground in the back stretch, but was tiring at the end. ZEMBLA waited in the early stages and closed very fast through the stretch. THREE DAGGERS raced evenly. WISHING STAR could not threaten. SIX BELLS moved up stoutly in the stretch, but tired badly.
