AUTOGRAPH. displaine speed from the start and given a hustling ride, came around FIRST TIME and, after getting up, drew out fast. FIRST TIME, away fast and hustled into a good lead, saved ground after the first three-sixteenths and weakened badly after a half mile, but held the others safe. PHAROLAR, away slowly, lost much ground and closed badly under light urging. THREEMS showed an even performance. HILDUR QUEEN began slowly. AIRFORCE, away slowly and raced wide the final half mile, improved his position fast after reaching the last three sixteenths and won without need of strong pressure, but appeared to have little left. KABO forced a fast eailv pace, raced into a good lead eraduallv, but cave wav badly after five eichths. BLUE GAUNTLET, a factor from the start, held on fairly well THISTLE DINA made up ground. BELGIAN BOY appeared to swerve soon after the start and again soon after reaching the turn, made a mild bid on the stretch, but weakened badly in the last eighth. LEEORAN tired. ANKLETS showed nothing. FOYOT had speed, but tired badlv after a half mile. SCHUIE, a factor from the start, swerved out in the stretch and came again when Straight. LADY CONFUCIUS moved with a rush, then weakened. DAINTY JEANNE could not get up. FOR ROMANCE was never a factor. SOURDINE showed early speed. LITTLE EMPRESS showed speed from the start, savd ground throughout and tired in the late stages, but stalled off PERLETTE. The latter showed an even effort, under a hustling ride. POLAR FLIGHT, going in his best form and under strong restraint for about three eighths, took command quickly on the stretch turn and, continuing with fine speed, held sway thereafter. CHERRY TIME, well up from the start, swerved out slightly in the stretch and, holding on camelv, disposed of LIKEWISE in the final fifty yards. The latter, showing speed from the start and stronclv restrained for thrce-eichths, continued well until reaching the last sixteenth, where he weakened. BOW TO ME finished well in~a good effort. BEST BID lost ground. SPEEDY SKIPPY did not threaten. ROI.LIN HOME quit badly. CROWNING GLORY ran away a half mile before reaching the post and, in attempting to wheel at the start, unseated his rider. Overweight — Bow To Me, 3 pounds; Watercure, 1; Fast Stride, 2. The latter, reserved off the pace and saving ground early, lost some ground entering the stretch and closed well when straightened. WHISKOLO, under restraint early and forced wide on the turn, moved up soon after entering the stretch, but tired badly in the last eighth. FIRST ENTRY closed strongly. SARADA had no mishaps. SAILORS GIFT, forced back on the second turn, rallied mildlv when clear, but tired badly ir the late stages. LADY GENIE lost much ground and also tired badly. ENOLA began slowly.
