MEMORY BOOK IN PREAKNESS PIMLICO, Md., April 29.— Officials of the Maryland Jockey Club received word that the Greentree Stables Memory Book, winner of the Spalding Lowe Jenkins Memorial last October at Laurel, and a stablemate, Brush Hook, will come down from New York to fulfill their engagements in the 5,000 Preakness, mile and three-sixteenths test on May 16. Memory Book is a chestnut son of St. Germans and Momento, while Brush Hook is a chestnut son of Sickle and Neda. They have been training so well this spring that trainer William Brennan decided to start them in the outstanding event of the Maryland Jockey Clubs sixteen-day session. Willis Sharpe Kilmers Ned Reigh, who contracted shipping fever en route from New York to Churchill Downs to fulfill his Kentucky Derby engagement, will be returned here. It is trainer Jack Whytes opinion that Ned Reigh will recover in time to fulfill his engagement in the Preakness.
