JOE FLORES, close to the pace from the start and heading LYSANDER in the stretch, drew out to a h.indy victory. LYSANDER showed eood speed in pacemaking and while seeming to lack the class of the ■winner, held on fairly well. SALLYS BOOTER .was in close quarters on the inside in the early running and linished fairly well. GATEWAY lacked speed to keep up but was going gamely at the finish. BETTY FARRELL had some early speed, but could not keep up. Overweight — Sallys Booter, 2 pounds; Erin Lad, 4. SIXTH RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. Black Board, Dec. 4, 1934—1:10—5—108. Start eood and slow. Won ridden out ; second and third driving. BYE LO, never far from the pace, came fast through the stretch to wear down AMY COOPER and win slowly drawing away under mild pressure. AMY COOPER showed good early speed in setting the pace and saved ground throughout, but was not good enough for the winner. MR. BUN closed much ground and finished well, but probably needs a longer distance and a stronger rider. BOILING POINT lacked his usual early speed and ran below his best form. CUYAMACA tired badlv in the stretch. Scratched— 25147 Coldwater, 110; 251843Mad Joss, 96; 24815 Leo M., 110; 25117 Chiana, 96. SEVENTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES. Top Row, Dec. 8, 19341:42—3—109. SQUEEZER, taken back early, made a good move m the ■tiCtck to take second place. MIDSHIPMAN finished well. MERELY, in trouble continually while racing on the inside, was taken up twice and could not get up, but did not run his race and can do better. GUIDELIGHT weakened in the stretch. STORM took command soon after the start and, saving ground, shook off WEST STAR rounding the far turn to draw into a good lead and had enough left at the end to hold INSTIGATOR. The latter challenged in determined fashion near the end and was going well at the finish. BEESON was close enough in the earlv staees, but lacked his usual finishing spurt.
