— ♦- MRS. KATHERINE DAVIS DIES LEXINGTON, Ky., April 29.— Mrs. Kath-erin Shropshire Davis, 58, wife of Horace N. Davis, master of Blue Grass Heights Farm and one of the best known breeders of thoroughbred horses, died this morning at the family residence on the old Frankfort Pike. Mrs. Davis was injured on March 15 in an automobile wreck in which her sister, Miss Ella Shropshire, was killed. Her death, however, was directly due to a heart attack. Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Horace N. Davis, Jr., and a daughter, Olive Davis, one sister. Mrs. R. W Broaddus. of Lexington, and tljee nieces and a nephew. The funeral services will be held at the home at 10 oclock Friday morning. Interment in Lexington Cemetery.
