I BELMONT PARK NOTES 4 0 A division of the Walter M. Jeffords string, numbering twenty, arrived from Maryland in charge of second trainer John OMalley. With the arrival of the steeplechasing division of the John Hay Whitney stable in charge of William Naughton, the Ral Parr string trained by Elmer Trueman and a few others for which reservations were made months ago, the 1,600 stalls on the expansive grounds will be completely booked. Superintendent Boyle is at his wits end in an effort to accommodate many others seeking accommodations at "headquarters. Horses and horsemen racing on the metropolitan circuit may be said to be "hand-picked," since no stall room is allotted anywhere until applications have been favorably acted upon by both The Jockey Club and the Nov York State Racing Commission. E. R. Bradley was among the clubhouse visitors and will remain for the season. At private terms, Rigan McKinney purchased from W. J. Ziegler, Jr., the horse Hellespont, and he will race in his colors tomorrow. Matt Brady will saddle the horse for his new owner. C. V. Whitneys Red Rain was brought over to the paddock before the running of the steeplechase to acquaint him with the surroundings for his first start in the fourth race.
