OHARA OFFERS ,000 MATCH Eich Prize for Meeting Between Goldey F., Planetoid and Airflame — Tommy Taylor Willing. PAWTUCKET, R. I., May 12.— In an effort to determine the outstanding juvenile shown so far this season, Walter OHara, enterprising chief of Narragansett Paik, this afternoon stated that he would offer a prize of ,000 for a race between the Tall Timber filly, Goldey F.; Planetoid, winner of the Jeanne DArc Stakes last week at the Pawtucket course, and Airflame, holder of the worlds mark for three furlongs. Goldey F., which will undoubtedly go down ! as one of the real bargains of the turf, j won her eighth straight victory since making her debut to racing at Hialeah Park on Saturday in accounting for the Rosedale Stakes at Jamaica. J. M. "Tommy" Taylor, owner of Planetoid, the grey Ariel filly which has won her only three starts, two of them at Churchill Downs, is ready to support his standard j I bearer against the Tall Timber miss at any I time. Airflame, another get of Ariel and the ■ j | winter champion of the West Coast, in the I string of A. G. Vanderbilt, which has two victories to his credit over Murph, winner of the Bashford Manor Stakes on Saturday at Churchill Downs, has been undefeated In his only four starts. It remains only for the owners of the three undefeated youngsters to get together to agree on conditions to have the race become a reality. OHara stated still further that if they would agree to let him start Jackie D. and make it a four-horse affair he was willing to hang up a purse of 0,000. Jackie D. is holder of the four and one-half furlongs track record at Narragansett and has impressed in his two local appearances under silks. Only the poorest sort of luck saw his colors lowered in his first start at the meeting when he was beaten a scant nose by Pathos after having left the stalls tardily.
