PIMLIC0 TURF NOTES 4 a» Jockey Edward De Camillas, who has been riding in splendid form on Maryland tracks, has become affiliated with the stable trained by Frank Garrett, who has a string of twenty-two performers in his care. De Camillas will accompany the Garrett-trained horses to Chicago at the close of the Maryland racing season at Pimlico next Saturday. Ben Holmes, who will serve as racing secretary for the Eastern Racing Association, Inc., operating Suffolk Downs, near East Boston, forwarded word here that he would arrive on Thursday to supervise the final closing of stakes for the summer meeting. Stakes as announced will close on Friday, May 15. The further entry of the steeplechase performer, Capstan, owned by J. P. Jones, will not be accepted during the remainder of the Maryland Jockey Club meeting, according to a ruling handed down by the stewars Monday. The horse was guilty of carrying Caniento out of the course in the running of the Raceland steeplechase.
