LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Last Johnny Nolan and Danny Brammer, in first and second places, respectively, in the standing of the American jockeys, kept pace with each other last week by riding one winner each, but they lost ground to their closest rivals, N. L. Pierson, C. Parke and F. Chojnacki. The latter had the best record among the five leaders, piloting seven winners and increasing his years total to seventy-five. Nolan, the leader at present, is ten winners ahead of Chojnacki, eight winners in front of Parke, four ahead of Pierson and still one ahead of Brammer. Johnny Gilbert, with a big week at Jamaica, took the honors for the period with twelve winners, but he is as yet well down in the standing of the thirty leading American jockeys, whose records from January 1 up to and including the racing of last Saturday are as follows: Jo. key.
