INTERNATIONAL HANDICAP Weights Announced for First Steeplechase of Belmont Park Meeting to Be Run Saturday. NEW YORK, N. Y., May 12.— The first of the stakes for steeplechasers at Belmont Park is the International Handicap, to be run Saturday. It is over the short course, and the weights announced by Frank J. Bryan Monday places Stephen Sanfords Golden Meadow at the top with a burden of 158 pounds. At that weight the imported gelding, gives five pounds to both Joseph E. Wideners Bushranger and Mrs. A. B. Durants remarkable hurdler, St. Francis. Thomas Hitchcocks Amagansett, winner of the same race last year, and Joseph E. Wideners Arc Light come next with 152 pounds as their burdens and Rock Lad, which races for Katherine Christie has to take up 151 pounds. The weights scale down to a low of 130 pounds and from the thirty eligibles there should be a representative field, under silks. Following are the weights: Arc Light, 152, Golden Meadow, 158; Spinach, 147; Action, 146; Help Me, 139; Stir, 134; Alaric, 135; Hurry Harry, 140; Sumatra. 135; Amagansettt, 152; Jungle King, 143; Tona-ringo. 149; Bonnie Lad, 135; Lord Johnson, 140; Birmingham, 139; Luckite, 130; Black Bean, 140; National Anthem, 137; Bushranger, 153; Prattler, 140; Collateral, 140; Rideaway, 144; Corrugated, 130; Rock Lad, 151; Eastern Shore, 138; Redshank, 146; El Dorador, 137; Snap Back, 148; Galley Girl, 135; St. Francis, 153.
