FOREVER YOURS OAKS WORKS Milky Way Farms Filly Gallops Three -Quarters in 1:22% Over Sloppy Downs Track. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 12.— The Kentucky Oaks, which will have its sixty-second renewal as the feature of the closing day program at Churchill Downs on Saturday, took on new interest this morning when Forever Yours, Milky Way Farms sparkling daughter of Toro, breezed an easy three-quarters over the sloppy track and word was received from Maryland that Two Bob, C. V. Whitneys good daughter of The Porter, I had worked an impressive nine furlongs in 1:56 and probably would be shipped here to fill her engagement. Breezing throughout, Forever Yours went the distance in 1:22%. She was training in fine fashion until she met with a slight injury in an engagement at Arlington Downs and it should take little effort to prepare her for the nine furlongs journey that carries ,000 in added money. The Watterson Hotel Purse, Wednesdays feature, attracted six eligibles for the Oaks and the outcome of the mile race will have an important bearing on Saturdays stellar attraction. Those Oaks eligibles named for the Watterson Hotel Purse are Kentucky Blues, Sky O Blue, Marica, Threadneedle, Brendard and Stepinanna. Cottingham and Miss Greenock complete the field.
