MISS LIZZIE, aided by good rating and saving ground throughout, continued strongly until reaching the final eighth, where under severe pressure she managed to withstand ALL BAYS bid. The latter suffered a hard fall while at the post, met sharp interferenc on the first turn and, coming with a rush on the outside in the final quarter, finished strongest. KING CICERO, a factor from the start and also saving much ground, held on well and, but for lacking racing room near the end, might have been a stronger factor. ENOLA met interference and showed a good effort. GLOVE tired after reaching the stretch. REEL-AWAY began poorly. BRIGHT LAND, much the best and beginning fast, drew clear before reaching the turn, where he crossed to the inside and, continuing with fine speed, drew out steadily through the stretch. GABRIEL rushed up on the outside in the first eighth, was under vigorous riding in the final five sixteenths and tired in the late stages, but withstood IMPERIAL POLLYS rush. The latter, in close quarters early and taken to the outside when clear, i losed strongly in a fine effort. CHESTNUT QUEEN was on the inside much of the race. SCHOOLMOM had a rough trip. TRYANHURRY tired. WEAPON was racing well up when blocked soon after entering the stretch. HUM, DERBY EVE, SHEATHE, SACKFUL and TRYANHURRY delayed the start. CHALK EYE, lucky to secure ample room immediately after the start and taken to the lead before going ■ quarter, drew lcar approaching the turn and, shaken up when entering the stretch, continued well to the final eighth, where he tired, but had enough left to stall off BILLIES ORPHAN. The latter, well in hand for a half mile and forced to race wide, raced to the winner gradually, then weakened. TENACE, also under lent restraint early, could not improve her position under pressure. SHADY WOOD made up eround steadily. PRINCE FLUZ saved ground when moving up, but tired in the final three-sixteenths. NIGHT FLOWER had j speed, but failed to keep up after five-eichths. SWEEPALOT saved much eround and held on well in a good effort. KERMAY displayed fine speed, but tired in the last eighth. MONON LAD tired. BROWN" PRODIGY had no mishaps. LIKEWISE, under light restraint for three eighths, could not menace the winner when placed to strong urging, but held nn well. MY BLAZE, forced to lose ground throughout, stood a drive gamely and was wearing down LIKEWISE. BII.LBO also raced wide and closed well in a good effort. GILBERT ELSTON. slow to begin and far back for a half mile, failed to get through on the inside in the final eighth. GREY STREAK quit.
