PIMLICO TURF NOTES S -c. Edward R. Bradley, master of the Idle Hour Stock Farm, notified officials of the Maryland Jockey Club that he would be on hand Saturday with a large party of friends to witness the Preakness Stakes. The Bradley silks may be carried in the contest by Bow and Arrow, unbeaten in three starts this season. A notice was posted on the bulletin board at Pimlico advising horsemen that the stakes for Suffolk Downs close on Friday. Blanks may be secured here, and it is expected that racing secretary Ben Holmes will be present to accept late nominations. The Shandon Farm Stable, numbering sixteen horses, will be transferred to Chicago on Friday by trainer J. J. Greely. Bright Light and Galmica head the shipment. Stake blanks for the Arlington Park Jockey Club meeting at Arlington Heights were received and distributed among the horsemen here. Stakes closing on June 15 are the Stars and Stripes Handicap, the Arlington Handicap, the Hyde Park Stakes, the Arlington Inaugural Handicap, and the Classic.
