LE MISERABLE was hustled into the lead soon after the start, set the pace under slight restraint and came away in the final eighth. PEGGY J., well up from the start, made a bold challenge in the final quarter, but was not good enough. UNCOMMON GOLD improved his position slowly and finished gamely. 1 SAM ALEXANDER tired after a half mile. HAREM QUEEN broke badly. The others were never prominent. Scratched— 25545 Barrido, 109.
