Won easily ; second and third driving. SANTERNO, badly outrun for a half mile, improved his position rapidly after reaching the final three- 1 eighths and, continuing well after disposing of CATINO, held GEE GEE safe without need of pressure. The 1 latter, far back for three quarters, came with a rush on the outside thereafter. CATINO took an easy lead approachine the far turn, but tired when the final test came. FOOLHARDY also tired. LISTENING had no excuses. GOLDEN BEAM failed to keep up. FIRST TRY quit. STINGER raced wide and was never a I strong factor.
