CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES i; 4 0 Jockey Willie Moran was suspended for five days by the Churchill Downs stewards ; for rough riding astride Rock X. in the fifth ! race Saturday. W. C. Goodloes good distance running filly Seventh Heaven, which finished third in tba Kentucky Oaks here, may be a starter in the Latonia Derby Saturday. If she is shipped to the Covington track other of the Goodloe horses will remain here, and upon Seventh Heavens return the entire stable will leave for Omaha. Negotiations opened several days ago by Jack Carter for the contract J. H. Tate holds on apprentice Jack Nolan have advanced so far that Carter hopes to acquire the papers in time for Nolan to report to him for the Hawthorne opening next Saturday. Jockey L. Haas was suspended ten days for rough riding astride Wise Duke in the seventh race at Churchill Downs Saturday. It was his second similar offense of the meeting. Theodore E. Mueller announced a change in plans for his Shady Brook Farm Stable, and instead of campaigning at Hawthorne the stable will participate in the thirty-seven day Latonia meeting, opening Saturday. Muellers present string consists of ten head. George Brooks is the trainer. B. L. Kennedy is shipping seven belonging to the Char-Lei Stable to Latonia. He had considered going to Chicago from here. George White, with the pretentious Rose-dale Stable, owned by George Clarke, ships to Latonia Tuesday. This establishment is well represented in a majority of the seven stakes to be run during the Covington tracks meeting. Jockey J. McCoy left Sunday for Aurora. He may return to Kentucky for the Latonia meeting. Marion Burr, owned by Richard H Fried-rich, of San Antonio, goes to C. W. Hays Scotland Farm, where she will run out until fall. Friedrich. a wealthy manufacturer and ranch owner, has the brood mares. Genie Grit and Jennie Dean, both with foals at their side, at Scotland Farm but they will be transferred to his ranch near Kerrville, Texas, next fall. Norman W. Churchs stable, embracing a score or more, including a number of Hawthorne and Arlington Park stakes candidates, is expected at Arlington Park from California within the next ten days. The suspensions of Ira Hanford, Nick Wall and George Burns for rough riding in the Kentucky Derby here on May 2 terminate Wednesday. Each of the three pilots drew fifteen days for their Derby riding tactics. Jake Lowenstein leaves Tuesday for Cincinnati, where he will undergo treatment for a sinus ailment. His stable, headed by Threadneedle. which finished second in the Kentucky Oaks Saturday, was shipped to Hawthorne Monday night. Lou Cahn will unload the horses at the Cicero track.
