YOUR HONOR broke in a tangle out of hand, moved to the outside and responding to pressure, wore down the leaders and drew away. HIS NIBS raced forwardly from the start, moved up on the inside under pressure and outlasted PASS EM BY in the final drive. The latter, away well, dropped back after eoing an eighth, moved up under pressure and then hung at the end. THOMAS C. showed a good effort all the way, but had no mishaps. DEBATE raced greenly. SPRINGLOCK beean slowly and, outrun in the early stages, came to the inside in the stretch and finished well. ALBANIA broke well and placed under pressure, dropped back nearing the far turn, then made up ground while passing tired horses. WAR LASSIE, a forward factor in the early stages, had no mishaps in the running. LAKE PLACID, on the outside all the wav. faltered under urging in the stretch run. FAIRY HILL, on the inside all the way, finished with good courage under urging. ABOVE PAR forced the pace from the start and finished gamely under severe pressure. CHICOLORADO was rushed into command, set a fast pace, but hung in the final few strides. BEAU PARADE showed a good effort all the way. STAR PUPIL faltered under pressure at the end. ROMAN SOLDIER, away well and in nearest pursuit of the pace from the start, came to the outside when straightened out in the stretch, wore down MISS MERRIMENT and drew away. MISS MERRIMENT, fractious at the post, showed high early speed, saved ground, but faltered under pressure in the final sixteenth KIEVEX, outrun in the early stages, improved his position rounding the far turn, came wide entering the stretch and finished well. THORSON outran his field from the start, was rated along steadily, saved ground entering the stretch and outlasted GIANT KILLER when placed under pressure to the final drive. The latter improved his position steadily, came to the outside in the stretch run and finished with a rush. APERITIF, a forward factor from the start, came again in the stretch under pressure. CONTE improved his position with a rush, made a determined bid in the stretch run, but then hung. STAR SHADOW came to the inside in the stretch and closed resolutely. FREE had no mishaps in the running. KEARSARGE quit badly. SOMEBODY, well up in the early stages, was not persevered with when he quit.
