f HAWTHORNE TURF NOTES f $ A number of the larger stables which will campaign here arrived Monday morning. Included in this group were the T. C. Worden shipment of twenty-four head in charge of Ben Jones; the Carter and Gibbons horses, consisting of nineteen head under the care of trainer Jack Carter; the Three Ds Stock Farm string, consisting of nine fleet racers in charge of R. N. Vestal, and thirty-two horses which Tony Pelleteri is training for himself and his various associates. The J. E. Widener string, with trainer Danny Stewart in charge, got in Saturday afternoon.
