NOMINATIONS BY FITZSIMMONS Trainer of Belair Stud and Wheatley Stable Sends 17 Entries for Rockingham Stakes. SALEM, N. H., May 18.— James Fitzsim-mons, better known as "Sunny Jim," famed trainer for the Belair Stud and Wheatley Stable, and one of the best liked characters on the turf, has made a total of seventeen nominations for the seven major stakes of the spring meeting of the New Hampshire Jockey Club at Rockingham Park, May 25 to June 13. Belair Studs Gallant Prince, winner of the ,000 added King Philip Handicap at Narragansett Park, has been nominated for three of Rockinghams spring meeting stakes. Gallant Prince is expected to start in the Granite States, Decoration Day and Rockingham Park Handicaps. Others of the Belair Stud of William Woodward, New York banker and breeder, that have been nominated include Palma, Vicaress, Royal Fox and Merry Pete. From the Wheatley Stable, Seabiscuit, Reminding and Snark have been nominated in the New Hampshire Handicap, while Crop and Grand Jester are expected to be contenders in the Juvenile Handicap, the ,500 added event for two-year-olds to be run June 10. m
