NOVITO, close to the pace for the first half mile, took command approaching the half-mile post, drew away into a good lead on the lower turn, but had to bo ridden out to hold BOBBY SWEEP safe. BOBBY SWEEP moved up steadily in the last half mile and was going gamely at the end. OH DAVE broke well, was well placed in the early running, saved ground entering the stretch, but did not threaten the first two. JESSIE COPPAGE finished well.
