CARISBROOKE moved into command in tho first few strides, was rated along in the lead, shook off CONTRIBUTE rounding the turn and drew clear in tho stretch, then just lasted. HEROWIN, outfooted early, gradually worked its way forward on tho outside, closed with a rush and just failed to get up. STACK ARMS, well placed early, dropped back leaving the back stretch, then came again in tho closing drive. CONTRIBUTE forced the early pace, then tired badly through the stretch run. BEBEST, fortunate at the start, outbroke tho field, met interference leaving tho back stretch, then camo again through the final eighth. BILLIE WISE saved ground throughout and had no excuses. EASTER HATTER had speed from the start, raced GLANFORD into defeat in the first three-eighths, drew clear leaving the back stretch, closed gamely and outlasted CHICKPEN. The latter, well placed throughout, closed with a rush and was reaching tho winner at every stride. HITTIE saved ground all the way and had no mishaps. MONSWEEP came with a belated rush through the stretch run. SILVIRIS tired GLANFORD had speed for three-eighths, then quit badly. OSIRIAN was away slowly. BIT OF SORROW, taken in hand at the start, was rated along in close attendance of tho pace for three-quarters, camo to the outside for the drive, bore over sharply approaching the final sixteenth, slightly impeding HASTINOLA, then drew clear in the last twenty yards. HASTINOLA forced the pace from the start, was forced to take up in the stretch, then came again and outfinished TREY. The latter set the pace, but tired badly in tho last eighth. JACK PATCHES came with a rush through the last eighth. SABLIN tired. ABBATORO was caught in close quarters soon after the start. UNENCUMBERED tired badly. Scratched 27648 Winged Tlight, 107.
