OFFICIALS FOR DADE PARK Stewards Same as in Other Years Fred Burton Made Racing Secretary and Handicapper. HENDERSON, Ky., June 27. Racing officials for the thirteenth annual summer meeting of the Dade Park Jockey Club have been approved by the Kentucky State Racing Commission. The same stewards who have served many years at Dade Park will be in the stand this year for the twenty-six day meeting, which will have its inaugural on Saturday, August 8, and continue through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. They are judge T. C. Bradley and J. J. Graddy, both of Lexington," Ky. The placing judges will be Fred Burton, N. H. McClelland and W. J. Shelley. Mr. Burton will also act as racing secretary and handicapper, Mr. McClelland clerk of the scales, Mr. Shelley entry clerk, Dr. I. M. Hendricks paddock judge, R. Q. Cogar and A. R. Winters patrol judges, Olin Johnson timer, J. B. McClung manager of the pari-mutuels and F. H. Riester veterinarian representing the Kentucky State Racing Commission. George R. Palmer, who appeared as the starter for the first time at Dade Park last year, will again handle the barrier. Lester E. Yeager, associate manager, will establish headquarters at Dade Park this week and begin the task of preparing the plant for the coming meeting.
