FLIGHT OF GOLD, away fast and close to the pace in the early stages, responded well to urging in the last thrce-chhths, took the lead and was never threatened. MOONSAN waandshufflcd back rearing the far turn, was taken to the outside and made up ground rapidly thereafter. YEHONALA unseated her rider on the way tn the post, galloped about a mile before being captured, was away well and showed a good effort. PETER DIXON improved his position steadily in the final quarter. TAKE IT EASY had speed for a half mile, but tired badly thereafter. MARCHLIXE quit after three-eighths. The latter was hard hustled throughout tn set the pace, held a slight advantage and finished with good courage: HIGH BOTTOM displayed a liking for the going and forced the pare for most .of the trip. CANDESCENT, well up from the start, responded gamely to strong handling, gained steadily during the final quarter and wore down MY DAINTY in the last few strides, showing a game effort. MY DAINTY displayed a good burst of speed while setting the pace and held on with good courage. REAPING followed in close pursuit of the early pace and showed a good effort. LITTLE NYMPH lost some ground while racing wide. SOUND ADVICE was unable to keep up in the early stages, was ridden wide entering the stretch and closed fast. LA HO KEYS displayed good early speed, tried to bear out while racing in the back stretch, but was best of the others. FLAT ROCK was flatfcoied when the break came, then made up some ground.
