LAUREL PARK TURF NOTES f c : and Peter Markey, part owner of the Bomar Stable, is expected here on Friday to inspect the horses of that establishment that are here in charge of R. E. Potts. Preston M. Burch brought sixteen horses from New York to be campaigned on Maryland tracks for the rest of the season. The outfit is made up of nine two-year-olds, five three-year-olds, and the four-year-olds Fire-thorn and Commonwealth. Trainer E. Fred arrived at Bowie with L. B. Demings four-year-old Vera Cruz. Edward Coats, who campaigns the useful plater Panalong, was an arrival from Long Island with the four-year-old Whiskalong gelding. Pat Brady checked in at Laurel with the useful performers Fred Almy and Dark Loveliness. The W. C. Barnes stable, in charge of W. T. Magruder, is located on the outside of the plant at Laurel. The stable consists of Balzona and Newaygo. There are ten members in the string of horses that are being campaigned here for Leo J. Marks. The horses are in charge of Mose Lowenstein, and most of them were sired by Misstep. Jockey Silvio Coucci, who recently joined the E. R. Bradley stable, accepted his first mount for his new employer when he rode Bonnie Lois in the fourth race Wednesday. Coucci was also seen aboard Jacamar in the third race for J. F. Adams.
