HORSEMEN ADVISED TO AWAIT NOTICE TO SHIP ARLINGTON, Texas, Oct 7. Charles J. McLennan, racing secretary for the Texas Jockey Club, advises and warns horsemen under no circumstances to ship to Arlington Downs in anticipation of the fall meeting of thirty-three racing days, starting October 22, until they have been officially notified by the Texas Jockey Club that stalls have been allotted them. There will positively be no exceptions to this rule or order, and anyone shipping to Arlington without official confirmation and notice will be just out of luck regarding stalls, declared McLennan, who with general manager Trav Daniel is now sorting out those owners and trainers to be invited to participate in the 00,000 purse distributio.n at Arlington Downs.
