WAGGONER BROS. PLANNING - FOR FUTURE RACING YEARS ARLINGTON, Texas, Oct. 7. E. Paul Waggoner, who, with his brother, Guy L. Waggoner,-operates Arlington -Downs, next week will leave for Lexington, Ky., where iie.-will pick up nine 1936 foals belonging to the Three Ds Stock Farm. Three of these youngsters are from Three Ds mares and six of them were bought this year. Included in the latter lot are two by Ariel, from Pond Lily and Sable Lady, and four by Display, from Antidote, Fortunate, Roseomar axd Fourpence, all splendidly-bred mares. The Three Ds dams were Girl Scout, Thats That and Pansy Walker. Canfli is another member of the Waggoner quarter which will remain in Kentucky another year. Girl Scout and Thats That have been bred to Chance . Play, and Pansy Walker and Canfli have been bred to Display. After foaling in 1937 Girl Scout will be bred to Ariel, Pansy Walker to Sickle, Thats That to Display and Canfli to Gallant Fox, all of which is proof that the Waggoner brothers are investing heavily in the future of the thoroughbred industry in the Southwest.
